Energy Harvesting

Also known as power harvesting, this is a new technology in electronics described as the process of capturing, storing and conditioning energy into a form that can be used. We supply energy harvesting modules which can capture energy from solar cells, PZT piezoelectric ceramic composite elements, inductive elements and micro thermal-electric generators.

Microcontrollers

Microcontrollers were typically the most power hungry electronic components but today, many microcontrollers now incorporate power-saving functions and efficient architecture which considerably reduces their power consumption. This is a considerable benefit for portable consumer electronics. Relays

Relays are still an extremely common component in electronic circuits thanks to marked improvements in reliability, with one-million operation lifetimes now the norm in modern electronic relays. Renewable Energy

Switches

Electronic switches provide a mechanical power-saving function and are often the most user-visible form of power management in modern consumer electronics. The Newark switch offering includes options for ultra-miniature size, high-insulation, LED indication and fully enclosed, with ranges rated up to 250,000 cycles.

Thermal Efficiency

Thermal efficiency is also a key means of energy efficiency as well as prolonging the life of electronic components and the circuit as a whole. Our range of highly efficient thermal products includes many varieties of fans, heatsinks, thermal interface products and temperature sensors.
