Smart Power Modules

SPM modules form the power stage of three phase motor drives, saving energy in pump and drive applications.

The products integrate three robust high voltage drivers and six MOSFETs with fast recovery diodes, or alternatively IGBTs, into a small package. The lower power modules are available in a small surface mountable or through-hole package. For higher power electronic circuits, a range of packages starting from lower cost plastic packaging through medium cost ceramic packaging to high performance DBC substrate is available. The high voltage drivers have high noise immunity and low susceptibility to EMI (electromagnetic interference) which prolongs the lifetime of other electronic components in the device.

Designers can save time on circuit layout as design aspects are far easier with a module solution. Find out more

Low Voltage MOSFETs

Power33 and Power56 20V-200V MLP MOSFETs are used to increase the efficiency of embedded and standalone power supplies. These products use PowerTrench technologies to reduce switching and conduction power losses. MLP packages have lower thermal resistance which simplifies thermal design, as well as lower package impedance which reduces EMI. The 30V range of SyncFET products integrates a Schottky diode into the MOSFET device structure leading to lower losses in the upper MOSFET in a synchronous rectifier circuit. The Power56 package has a maximum current rating of up to 30A. Find out more
